Writing
Experience | Professional Writing​

Througout her universitiy studies and moving forwards into her professional career Madeline has had a number of oppoutunities to not only develop her professional writing skills but also to nurture her interests in writing.
Work has included contributing to fashion blogs and online magazines amongst a number of other platforms. Currently working as a Sub Editor for Purple Sneakers she also contributes regularly to the Beats Travel Blog uncreditied on topics such as music, travel and culture. Madeline also writes on occasion for The Plus Ones Melbourne.

This gallery contains photos from shoots Madeline has worked in within a professional capacity. Working as a stills photographer with 278 shoots have taken place within the costume department of Her Majesty's Theatre, location in Brunswick and in Fitzroy at the Brunswick Street Gallery. This gallery also contains images from a fashion shoot, published in an online magazine for fashion blog The Fashion Section.

Throughout her three years studying media Madeline had the opportunity to be apart of small crews making both documentary and narrative films. She has also made her own short art film.

Featured in this folio is Madeline's Individual work on a art film depicting patterns in nature, a collaborative film documenting the backstage of The Social Studio's 2012 Melbourne Spring Fashion Week runway show. This video was featured on The Social Studio's webpage. Images from other shoots Madeline has worked on are are found in the gallery at the bottom.

Whilst studying Madeline had opportunity to further explore her long term interest in photography. Taking the skills developed during this time she continues to persue photography. Her interests in subject matter vary from landscape to portraiture. She also has a keen interest in working with Photoshop to transform photos into works of art.

Academic | Research and Writing
As a part of Madeline's third year university studies she produced a collaborative research project on Social Media Marketing. this report involved heavy research into social media and how brands can use it as a cost effective and lucrative marketing tool. It involved interviewing industry professionals, researching various social media platforms and producing written analysis of all research conducted. This report allowed Madeline to develop a sophisticated knowledge base in utilising social media as a marketing tool

Event Production
Experience | Events Production

As a part of their third year studies RMIT media students are required to form groups to plan and run seminars for fellow students featuring industry professionals. Madeline was involved in oraginsing and running eventception: The Event About Events. Her roles included: liaising with the steering committee, collaborating documents to ensure all tasks had been covered, general research, bumping in and out, scribing the event, written summaries of the event for publicity purposes, various administrative tasks.
